From when can I receive compensation in the event of a flight delay or cancellation at Hamburg Airport?

The EU Air Passenger Rights Regulation states that air passengers are entitled to compensation in the event of a delay of more than 3 hours, flight cancellation, rebooking or missed connection. Travellers can take the train to Hamburg airport. The airport is connected to the rail network. The S1 line runs every 10 minutes between the main station and the airport. Arrival and departure by car is via the A7 motorway. Depending on traffic conditions, the journey from Hamburg city center takes about 30 minutes.

With more than 12,000 parking spaces, Hamburg Airport offers numerous possibilities for parking your vehicle. The so-called terminal car parks are located directly in front of the terminals and the security checkpoint. They are especially recommended for short-term parking.
